Community guidelines

The house rules for everyone on Wudd, in plain words. They sit alongside our Terms of Service; where the two ever differ, the Terms apply.
Last updated: 2 October 2026

The short version

Wudd is for Muslims who want to marry. Everyone here is somebody's daughter or son, somebody's sister or brother. Be honest, be kind, and treat every introduction the way you would want your own family to be treated.

Who Wudd is for

Be who you say you are

Your photos

A person on our team checks every photo before anybody sees it.

Other members see your photos blurred until you match. Never try to remove, undo or get around the blur on somebody else's photos.

How we talk to each other

Money and selling

Meeting safely

We check phone numbers, selfies and profiles, and a person reads every profile before it is introduced. We do not run criminal record or background checks, and we cannot confirm that anybody is free to marry.

Your wali

You can give a guardian a code. He sees milestones only: that you matched and the first name of the person, that a call or a meeting was agreed, and whether your photos are verified. He never sees your conversations, and you can take the code back at any time.

Leave the app as it is

Reporting and blocking

When somebody breaks these guidelines

Depending on what happened, we can take down a photo or a piece of text, end a conversation, give a warning, restrict features, suspend an account or remove it permanently. Where the law requires it, we inform the authorities. People who break the rules again and again are suspended.

If we act against your content or your account, we tell you what we did and why. If you think we got it wrong, write to info@eayniapp.com within six months. A different person looks at it again, free of charge. The full rules are in sections 8 and 12 of the Terms of Service.
